About GGASB (Globalgroup Assessment Sdn Bhd)
Globalgroup Assessment Sdn Bhd (GGASB) was incorporated on 8 July 2010 in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia to provide primarily management systems certification audit and assessment services, along with other regulatory compliance audit, risk assessment, monitoring, inspection and testing services. Guided by its commitment to offering credible and reliable services, GGASB consistently upholds and lives up the principles of impartiality, competence, responsibilities, openness, confidentiality, responsiveness to complaints and risk based approach.



Management Systems Certification Audit
We provide qualified auditors and assessors to carry out assessment, surveillance and re-assessment visits of management systems of companies against requirements of standards, and make recommendations for registration to our international head office GCL International Limited, a UKAS-accredited certification body based in United Kingdom. Our international head office will subsequently award registration to companies that demonstrate compliance.

Regulatory Compliance Audit, Risk Assessment, Monitoring, Inspection and Testing
We conduct regulatory compliance audit, risk assessment, monitoring, inspection and testing on agricultural, industrial, land development, construction and other business activities to meet health, safety and environmental legislative requirements of the Malaysian Government. Our associate laboratories are accredited to MS ISO/IEC 17025 and our competent persons registered with DOE Malaysia, DOSH Malaysia and CIDB Malaysia. We provide a variety of services which includes but not limited to the following:
  • Chemical Health Risk Assessment under Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standards of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health) Regulations 2000.
  • Environmental Impact Assessment (Chemical Processes) under Section 34A Environmental Quality Act 1974
  • Environmental Auditing under Section 33A Environmental Quality Act 1974
  • Environmental Monitoring under Environmental Quality Act 1974 and related regulations e.g. Environmental Quality (Sewage) Regulations 2009, Environmental Quality (Industrial Effluent) Regulations 2009, Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulations 2014, etc.
  • Safety and Health Assessment in Construction in accordance with Construction Industry Standard CIS 10:2018 Safety and Health Assessment System in Construction.
We also provide chemical safety assessment services in accordance with other regional or international compliance obligations such as European Community Directives on: Registration Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), Cosmetics, Toy Safety, Food Contact Materials (FCMs), etc.
